2163 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Abu Kamil al-Jahdari narrated to us; Abu ʿAwanah narrated to us, from Hilal ibn Janab, who said: “I travelled with Saʿid ibn Jubayr after a few days of Rajab had passed. From Kufa he entered into ihram for an ʿumra; once he had completed that ʿumra, he later assumed ihram for the hajj in the middle of Dhu al-Qaʿda. Each year he would set out twice—once for ʿumra and once for hajj.”
