2157 – ʿAbdullah ibn Ahmad narrated to us; I was informed from Ibn al-Mubarak that a woman once said to ʿAʾisha—may Allah have mercy on her—“Uncover for me the grave of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).” She unveiled it for her, whereupon the woman wept until she passed away.
