2140 – ʿAbdullah narrated to us; he said: Sufyan ibn Wakiʿ related to us; he said: Ibn ʿUyaynah related, from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, who said:

Muhammad ibn ʿAlī said, “Supplicate Allah for what you love; then, if what you dislike comes about, you will not have opposed Allah in what He loves.”
