ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us; Hammām narrated to us; Qatādah narrated that Solomon the Prophet—peace be upon him—said: “It is amazing that a merchant could ever be saved: by day he is busy swearing oaths, and by night he is asleep.”
