2131 – ʿAbdullah narrated to us; he said: My father narrated to me; he said: Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Humayd narrated to me, saying, “I heard Abu Ishaq say, ‘Abu ʿAbd al-Rahman al-Sulami taught the Quran in the mosque for forty years.’”
