2121 – ʿAbdullah related to us; my father related to me; Wakiʿ related to us, from al-Aʿmash who said: “I was with Ibrāhīm while he was reading the mushaf (the written copy of the Quran). A man asked permission to enter, so Ibrāhīm covered the mushaf and said, ‘I do not want this man to see me reading it at every moment.’”
