2115 – ʿAbdullah narrated to us; ʿUthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to me; ʿAbdah narrated to us, from Ismaʿil—meaning Ibn Abi Khalid—from Aktal, who said: I heard Ibrahim al-Nakhaʿi say, “Among all who speak, no one is more likely to be seeking thereby the Face of Allah—exalted is He—than Ibrahim al-Taymi; and yet I would be glad if he could simply come out of it with nothing owing.”
