- ʿAbdullāh narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us; Yaḥyā narrated to us; from Shuʿbah, from ʿAmr ibn Murrah, who said: I heard Abū Burdah say, “I heard al-Agharr, a man of the Juhaynah tribe, relate to Ibn ʿUmar that he had heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: ‘O people, repent to your Lord, for I myself repent to Him one hundred times each day.’”
٢١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أبِي، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْأَغَرَّ، رَجُلًا مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، تُوبُوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ، فَإِنِّي أَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْيَوْمِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ»
