2076 – ‘Abdullāh narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Ibrāhīm narrated to us; Sufyān narrated to us, from Manṣūr, from Abū Wāʾil, regarding Allah’s words, “and seek the means of approach to Him” (al-Māʾidah 5:35). He said: “It refers to drawing near to Him through righteous deeds.”
