2074 – ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; Abū Maʿmar narrated to us; Abū Usāmah narrated to us, from Mālik ibn Mighwal, from Abū Jaʿfar, who said: Abū Wāʾil declared, “For me to have a son who fights in the path of Allah—glorified and exalted is He—is dearer to me than (possessing) one hundred thousand.”
