- ʿAbdullāh narrated to us, saying: My father informed us; Yazīd narrated to us; Ḥammād ibn Salamah informed us, from ʿAlī ibn Zayd, from Abū ʿUthmān an-Nahdī, from ʿĀʾishah—may Allah be pleased with her—who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say, “O Allah, make me among those who, when they do good, rejoice, and when they do wrong, seek forgiveness.”
٢١٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أبِي، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ (عليه السلام) قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَحْسَنُوا اسْتَبْشَرُوا، وَإِذَا أَسَاءُوا اسْتَغْفَرُوا»
