2066 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Abi ʿUmar al-ʿAdanī, in Mecca, told me; he said: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us:
He said: When Dharr ibn ʿUmar ibn Dharr passed away, ʿUmar ibn Dharr said, “O Dharr, our grief for you has distracted us from grieving over you. Would that I knew what you said and what was said to you! I have waived every right of mine that Dharr neglected, so waive for me every right of yours in which I fell short.”
