2065 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, saying: ʿAbbās ibn al-Qāsim al-Asadī related to me, from Ghālib ibn ʿAbd Allah, from Mujāhid, with reference to the verse sīmāhum fī wujūhihim min athari s-sujūd (“Their mark is upon their faces from the trace of prostration,” Q 48:29). He said, “Their faces will be bright and white on the Day of Resurrection because of the abundance of prostrations they used to perform in this world.”
