2057 – ʿAbd Allah related to us; Ahmad ibn Ibrahim told me; Musaddad related to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn Dawud, from ʿAlī ibn Ṣāliḥ, who said: “ʿAmr ibn ʿUtbah would be praying while a wild beast stood guard over him.”
٢٠٥٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عُتْبَةَ يُصَلِّي وَالسَّبُعُ يَحْمِيهِ»
