- ʿAbdullāh narrated to us, saying: My father informed me; ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us; ʿUmārah ibn Hishām—known as the companion of al-Zaʿfarānī—narrated to us, from Anas ibn Mālik: Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, once handed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, a small piece of barley bread. He said, “This is the first food your father has eaten in three days.”
٢١٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي أبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ صَاحِبُ الزَّعْفَرَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ، (رضي الله عنها) نَاوَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ، كِسْرَةً مِنْ خُبْزِ شَعِيرٍ، فَقَالَ: «هَذَا أَوَّلُ طَعَامٍ أَكَلَهُ أَبُوكِ مُنْذُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ»
