2047 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Muhammad ibn Sābiq narrated to us; Mālik narrated and said: I heard Ṭalḥah say that Masrūq said, “When those who were afflicted in the life of this world behold the recompense for their trials on the Day of Resurrection, each one of them will wish that his very skin had been sliced in this world with shears.”
