2036 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Aʿmash, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Murrah, from Masruq, who said: “I am never more confident about my provision than when the servant declares, ‘We have neither a single qafīz (measure of grain) nor a dirham left.’”
