- ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Ṣamad informed us; al-Mustamir ibn al-Rayyān al-Iyādī narrated to us; (35) Abū Naḍrah al-ʿAbdī narrated to us, from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, who said:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, spoke of this worldly life and said, “Truly, the world is green and sweet; so beware of it, and beware of women.”
٢٠٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أبِي، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُسْتَمِرُّ بْنُ الرَّيَّانِ الْإِيَادِيُّ، ⦗٣٥⦘ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَضْرَةَ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَكَرَ الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ، فَاتَّقُوهَا، وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ»
