2035 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan. Sulaiman narrated to me, from Muslim, who said: Masruq was asked about a line of poetry, and he answered, “I would not wish to find any poetry recorded in my scroll of deeds.”
