2033 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us. Sufyan reported, from al-Aʿmash, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Murrah, from Masruq, who said:

“It is enough for a man, in terms of knowledge, that he fears Allah—Exalted is He; and it is enough for a man, in terms of ignorance, that he is impressed with his own knowledge.”
