2007 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: My father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Ashʿath ibn Sawār narrated to us, from Muḥārib ibn Dithār, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Among my community there are those who are unable to come to their mosque or place of prayer because they possess no clothing; their faith keeps them from asking people. Among them are Uways al-Qaranī and Furāt ibn Ḥayyān al-ʿIjlī.”
٢٠٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ مَسْجِدَهُ أَوْ مُصَلَّاهُ مِنَ الْعُرْيِ، يَحْجِزُهُ إِيمَانُهُ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ، مِنْهُمْ أُوَيْسٌ الْقَرَنِيُّ وَفُرَاتُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ»
