1990 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said, “My father narrated to us; Wakīʿ narrated to us; al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Mundhir, who said:

Al-Rabīʿ ibn Khuthaym used to sweep the latrine himself. Someone said to him, “You could be spared this.” He replied, “I like to take my share of menial labor.”
