1982 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; al-Nadr ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us; Sulayman al-Aʿmash informed us. He said: “Al-Rabiʿ ibn Khuthaym once passed by a group of blacksmiths. When he looked at their furnace bellows, he was so overwhelmed that he collapsed.” Al-Aʿmash added, “I later walked past the blacksmiths hoping to imitate him, but I found no good come from it within myself.”
