Al-ZuhdAhmad Ibn Hanbal

1972 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Umm ʿAbd Allah, Sariyyah al-Rabiʿ, who said: When al-Rabiʿ was on his deathbed, his daughter began to weep. He said, “My dear child, do not cry; rather say: ‘Rejoice! Today my father is going to meet nothing but goodness.’”
