1916 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Sayyār narrated to us; Jaʿfar narrated and said: One day Hawshab took me by both hands and said, “It is very near, O Abū Sulaymān, that if you remain alive you will find no confidant; it is very near, if you remain, that you will find no guide.”
