1891 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: I was informed, through Sayyār; Jaʿfar narrated to us; he said: I heard Mālik being asked, “O Abū Yaḥyā, will two loaves suffice you?” He replied, “Do you think I am after samn (clarified butter)?”
