1886 – ʿAbd Allah related to us; he said: My father related to us; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī related to us, from Jaʿfar, who said: I heard Mālik ibn Dīnār say: “The hearts of the believers seethe with righteous deeds, while the hearts of the profligate seethe with deeds of vice. Allah, Exalted is He, beholds your worries. May Allah have mercy on you.”
