1872 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said, “My father told me, Siyyar told us, and Jaʿfar told us; he said: I heard Mālik say, ‘How many a man would love to meet his brother and visit him, yet is kept from doing so by pressing work or some unexpected affair. Perhaps Allah will bring the two of them together in an abode where there is no parting.’ Mālik would then add, ‘I ask Allah to gather us and you beneath the shade of Ṭūbā (the blessed tree in Paradise) and in the place of rest prepared for the devoted worshippers.’”}
