1845 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Muḥammad ibn Muṣʿab narrated to us. He said: I heard Mikhlad recount that Abu al-Sawwār al-ʿAdawī was confronted by a man who directed harmful words at him. He kept silent until he reached—or entered—his home, then said, “That is enough, if you wish.”
