1831 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; I was informed by Saʿid ibn Sulayman, from Mubarak ibn Fadala, from Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allah, who said: “I live the life of the wealthy, yet I shall die the death of the poor.” He (the narrator) added: “And indeed he died while still owing a small debt.”
