1830 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Muslim ibn Hayyan al-ʿAtaki narrated to us; Abu Saʿid al-Tahhan narrated to us, from Ghalib al-Qattan, from Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allah, who said to his wife: “Were it not that I fear you would disclose my faults, I would have disclosed yours.”
١٨٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْعَتَكِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الطَّحَّانُ، عَنْ غَالِبٍ الْقَطَّانِ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِامْرَأَتِهِ: «لَوْلَا أَنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ تَقُولِي مَا فِيَّ لَقُلْتُ مَا فِيكِ»
