1817 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said, “I found this in my father’s book. Abū Muʿāwiyah al-Ghalābī narrated to us; a man from Quraysh narrated to me, saying:

Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd was returning from a funeral when al-Hasan called out to him from behind, ‘Abū ʿAbd Allah, Abū ʿAbd Allah!’ He turned toward him, and al-Hasan said, ‘If you are hurrying to family you love and who love you, then stay among them only briefly.’”
