1807 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu al-Rabiʿ al-Zahrani al-ʿAtaki narrated to me; Abu Qudamah al-Iyadi narrated to us; al-Harith ibn ʿUbayd narrated to us, from ʿAmir al-Ahwal, who said:

Nawf was asked about His—exalted is He—statement: “And We shall place between them an impassable gulf” (Surah al-Kahf, 18:52). He replied, “It is a valley separating the people of misguidance from the people of faith.”
