1798 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: “I read this report to my father.”

Khalaf narrated to us; Ibn al-Walid narrated to us; Hushaym narrated to us; al-Fadl ibn ʿAṭiyyah informed us, saying:

“I once sat with Salim ibn ʿAbd Allah, and his clothes together with his sandals were valued at thirteen dirhams—or perhaps fifteen.”
