Al-Sari further said, “I heard Sulayman al-Taymi remark, ‘He abandoned it over a matter about which none of the scholars differ.’”
قَالَ السَّرِيُّ: وَسَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيَّ يَقُولُ: «لَقَدْ تَرَكَهُ فِي شَيْءٍ مَا يَخْتَلِفُ فِيهِ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْعُلَمَاءِ»
