1767 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Zayd ibn al-Ḥubbāb narrated to us; Jaʿfar ibn Sulaymān narrated, from Hishām ibn Ḥassān, from Ḥafṣah bint Sirīn, who said: “Whenever Muḥammad entered upon his mother, he would not fully use his tongue in speaking to her, out of modesty and reverence for her.”
