1763 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Abu Kamil narrated to us; Hammad ibn Salamah, Hammad ibn Zayd, and his brother Saʿid ibn Zayd—all of them—from Abu at-Tayyah, from Muwarriq al-ʿIjli, who said: “The one who clings to obedience to Allah when people have turned away from it is like a warrior who charges back after the army has fled.”
