1745 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: My father narrated to me; Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us; Abu Jaʿfar narrated to us, from al-Rabiʿ, from Abu al-ʿAliyah, who said:

“Adhere to acts of obedience, and for their sake love those who practice them. Shun sin, and for its sake oppose whoever commits it. If Allah wills, He will punish the people who disobey Him, and if He wills, He will forgive them.”
