1726 – ʿAbdullah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us; and ʿAyyash ibn ʿUqbah narrated to me: I was told that ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz would frequently supplicate, “O Allah, grant safety, grant safety.”
