1722 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; al-Hasan ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz al-Jarawi narrated to me; he said: Damrah wrote to us, from Ismaʿil ibn ʿAyyash, from ʿAmr ibn al-Muhajir, who said: “The daily expenditure of ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz was two dirhams.”
١٧٢٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْجَرَوِيُّ قَالَ: كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا ضَمْرَةُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ قَالَ: كَانَ نَفَقَةُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ دِرْهَمَيْنِ "
