1720 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; al-Hakam narrated to me; Damrah narrated to us, from al-Hakam ibn Abi Ghaylan, from ⦗242⦘ Musʿab ibn Abi Ayyub, who said: I heard ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz, standing on the minbar, say: “Had Allah willed that He not be disobeyed, He would not have created Iblis—may Allah curse him.”
