1719 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us; al-Awzaʿi narrated to us, that ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz used to command his wives and daughters to perform ghusl (the full ritual bath) on Friday.
١٧١٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، كَانَ يَأْمُرُ نِسَاءَهُ وَبَنَاتَهُ بِالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ "
