177 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Mahdī narrated to us; ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Muslim narrated to us, from al-Rabīʿ ibn Anas, from Abū al-ʿĀliyah, from Ubayy ibn Kaʿb, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said:

“Give this Ummah glad tidings of glory, victory, and empowerment. Yet whoever among them performs deeds of the Hereafter for worldly gain shall have no share in the Hereafter.”
