1705 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: I was informed, from Sayyār; Jaʿfar ibn Sulaymān narrated to us; Hishām narrated to us; he said: When ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz (may Allah have mercy on him) passed away, al-Hasan said, “The best of people has died.”
