1687 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Bayan narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to us; Bishr ibn al-Harith said: I heard ʿIsa ibn Yunus, from al-Awzaʿi, from an informant of his, who said that ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz stated: “Whenever a people seclude themselves in matters of their religion apart from their community, they are only laying the groundwork for misguidance.”
