1678 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Maʿmar narrated to us; Jarir narrated to us, from Hakim ibn Kathir, who said:

ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz said, “I would love for my home to be in Qazwin until I die”—by this he meant staying in ribāṭ (permanent frontier guard duty).
