1676 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAmr narrated to us; Ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us; al-Awzāʿī informed me, saying that ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz said, “When you see a group whispering among themselves about religious matters while excluding the ordinary people, know that they are laying the groundwork for misguidance.”
