1667 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; al-Hasan ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz ibn Abi Salamah narrated to us; from al-Hasan, who said: “We pursued this matter and examined it, and we found no one who carried out any deed without knowledge (ʿilm) except that the harm he caused was greater than the benefit he brought.”
