1651 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us; Abū al-Ashhab narrated to us, from al-Hasan, who said:
“While a group of people were remembering Allah—Exalted is He—a man came and sat with them. At that moment, Allah’s raḥma (mercy) descended upon them and then was lifted. They said, ‘Our Lord, among us is Your servant So-and-so.’ He replied, ‘Cover them all with My mercy; they are a company in whose presence no one becomes wretched.’”
