1639 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Wakiʿ narrated to us; Sufyan narrated to us, from a man he did not name, from al-Hasan, who said: “Allah—Exalted is He—has not been worshipped with anything comparable to sorrow (for one’s sins).”
